The Cerrado, considered the most biodiverse savanna on the planet, reveals a unique and surprising beauty. In the region of Chapada dos Guimarães, this biome takes shape through dramatic landscapes, where towering sandstone cliffs, crystal-clear waterfalls, and vast horizons create a setting of remarkable grandeur.

With hundreds of springs, waterfalls, and protected areas, the region hosts one of the richest natural complexes in Brazil. Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, together with extensive conservation areas, protects ecosystems that connect the Cerrado to the Amazon and the Atlantic Forest, forming a true mosaic of biodiversity.

The tropical climate, marked by well-defined seasons, transforms the landscape throughout the year. During the rainy season, vegetation renews itself in vibrant shades of green, while the dry season reveals clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and ideal conditions for exploration and contemplation.

This natural richness is reflected in its extraordinary flora and fauna. Trees such as ipês, buriti palms, and jacarandas share space with native species and emblematic fruits like pequi, araticum, and mangaba. The region is also a refuge for an impressive diversity of wildlife, with more than 400 bird species, including macaws, hawks, and the iconic harpy eagle.

Mammals such as the maned wolf, giant anteater, tapir, and even the jaguar inhabit this environment, making the Cerrado a privileged destination for observing wildlife in its most authentic state.

More than a biome, the Cerrado is a land of discovery — where nature reveals itself in its purest form, connecting landscapes, species, and unforgettable experiences.
