PANTANAL JAGUAR RIVER CRUISE

Jofre → Corumbá | 6 Days / 5 Nights

A rare expedition through the heart of the Pantanal — where winding rivers replace roads and wildlife sets the rhythm.

Aboard an intimate vessel with only 5 to 7 cabins, this journey combines exclusivity, comfort, and privileged access to one of the highest concentrations of jaguars on Earth.

Navigating the Cuiabá and Paraguay Rivers, as well as the remote Serra do Amolar region, we explore three of South America’s most important natural sanctuaries: Pantanal National Park, Encontro das Águas State Park, and the Transpantaneira Park Road.

Here, luxury is not defined by excess — but by authenticity, silence, and proximity to nature in its purest form.

DAY 1 – CUIABÁ → PORTO JOFRE | GATEWAY TO THE WILDLIFE

Theme: Transition into the Wild

Arrival at Cuiabá Airport and private transfer to the Pantanal.

The journey begins toward Poconé and continues along the iconic Transpantaneira, one of the world’s greatest wildlife corridors. Wooden bridges and vast wetlands reveal early encounters with caimans, capybaras, and abundant birdlife.

Stop for lunch en route.

Arrival at Porto Jofre and boarding of the exclusive vessel.

Cabin check-in and beginning of your expedition.

Dinner onboard and overnight.

DAY 2 – RIVER SAFARI | JAGUAR TERRITORY

Theme: Encounter with the Apex Predator

After breakfast, departure for the first river safari in the Encontro das Águas State Park, globally recognized as the “Land of Jaguars.” Silent navigation through the Cuiabá, Piquiri, and Três Irmãos rivers allows for close yet respectful wildlife encounters.

Highlights include:

  • Jaguars in their natural habitat
  • Giant otters displaying social behavior
  • Caimans basking along the banks
  • Capybaras and a remarkable diversity of bird species
  • Lunch served onboard with uninterrupted views.

In the afternoon, another river safari culminates in a cinematic sunset over the Pantanal waters.

Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 – REMOTE RIVERS & SERRA DO AMOLAR

Theme: Exploration and Isolation

Morning safari after breakfast, continuing the search for jaguars and other wildlife.

As the vessel navigates toward the remote Serra do Amolar, the landscape transforms — dramatic hills rise from the wetlands, creating a rare and striking contrast.

In the afternoon, exploration of the Negrinho River, a secluded and pristine area where the sense of exclusivity is absolute.

Return onboard.

Dinner and overnight as the vessel continues its silent navigation downstream.

DAY 4 – WILDLIFE RESERVES & GUIDED WALK

Theme: The Pantanal on Foot

After breakfast, disembark at Acurizal Reserve for a guided walk.

This terrestrial perspective offers opportunities to observe species such as the titi monkey along with birds and smaller mammals.

Return to the vessel for lunch.

In the afternoon, river safari near the Pantanal National Park, one of the most preserved areas of the biome.

The day concludes navigating the Paraguay River.

Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 – SERRA DO AMOLAR & CRYSTAL WATERS

Theme: Freedom and Contemplation

Sunrise in one of the most untouched regions of the Pantanal.

Morning river safari in the Serra do Amolar region, rich in wildlife and dramatic scenery.

Return for lunch onboard.

In the afternoon, an exceptional moment: the opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the Paraguay-Mirim River, a rare and refreshing experience.

Final sunset in the Pantanal.

Dinner and overnight as the vessel continues its journey toward Corumbá.

DAY 6 – CORUMBÁ → CAMPO GRANDE | FAREWELL

Theme: Lasting Impressions

After breakfast, disembark in Corumbá.

Brief cultural immersion with a visit to the Museum of Pantanal Man, offering insight into the relationship between local communities and this unique ecosystem.

Private transfer to Campo Grande (approx. 6 hours), with a stop for lunch.

Arrival at the airport for late afternoon departures (after 5:00 PM).

End of services.
